INFRASTRUCTURE
Power
With respect to the power industry, TRIPATRA has worked in partnership/consortium with world-class engineering companies. Our technical strength in optimization of plant operations, installation, startup and commissioning, maintenance and power plant (project) management has been one aspect of our success in working alongside major national and international companies.
Another important aspect of TRIPATRA’s success in the implementation of joint projects, including output and outcome, has been its meticulous approach to power-plant safety. Our commitment to designing the right infrastructure, or optimizing pre-existing plants, has enabled us to provide to our clients the security of uninterrupted operations and safety for the plant’s workforce - major factors that impact on a plant’s performance.
To ensure that the needs of its clients or partners from the Power Generation Industry are met, TRIPATRA has established specialized services for this sector, including: project management; optimization of power-plant processes, and modernization through the enhancement of operational design with state-of-the-art technology.
Telecommunication
TRIPATRA entered into the telecommunications industry more than twenty years ago. Its first project was to provide Indonesia’s largest telecommunications company with recommendations for improving its management and for implementing performance-based operations. This project culminated in the joint preparation of the (public) company’s development plan as a part of the government’s five-year national development program (PELITA).
Having worked extensively in the design and planning for this sector, TRIPATRA expanded its operations and provided services including: the provision of telecommunication equipment, specialized software systems, infrastructure development and a range of other services.
Such services enabled one of our clients (EXELCOM) to operate and maintain an Optical Fiber Cable Network and Digital Microwave Radio System. The optical fiber network, a SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) transmission system, was installed to connect GSM cellular switching centers to network transmission nodes and to the PSTN (Public Switch Telephone Network). These optical-fiber facilities consist of primary (backbone) and secondary (ring) networks.
